Any call that reaches the Halyard gateway and is forwarded to your origin. Requests rejected by a rate limit or an invalid key are not billed, so an abusive client never runs up your invoice.
Nothing breaks. We email you at 80% and 100% of the allowance. On Free, traffic past a million requests is rate limited until the next month starts or until you upgrade.
They are marginal, like tax brackets. Past the 5M included on Pro, the next 45M are billed at $4 per million, the next 200M at $3 and anything above 250M at $2. The calculator above does this math for you.
Yes. Pro has a monthly spend cap in the dashboard. When traffic reaches it you choose whether Halyard alerts you or starts rate limiting at the edge.
No. Every plan includes unlimited team members and API keys. The only thing that moves your bill is traffic.
Upgrade at any time and the platform fee is prorated for the rest of the month. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Yes. Early-stage teams and open source maintainers can apply for credits from the dashboard. Tell us what you are building and we reply within a week.
Pro is billed monthly by card. Enterprise can pay by invoice on monthly or annual terms.
